Jeff Bezos Becomes the Richest Man in World Modern History:
The 54-year-old Jeff Bezos CEO of Amazon became the richest person in modern history on Monday, July 16, with net worth exceeding $ 150 billion, according to Bloomberg.
Bezos thus rose above the capital never reached by Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, after adjusting for inflation, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires index. In 1999, Gates’ wealth was $ 100 billion, which would equate to about $ 149 billion today.
Advantage of the technology sector:
This means that Bezos is richer than anyone on the planet since at least 1982, when Forbes started publishing wealth rankings, reports Bloomberg. The information was released on the opening day of Prime Day, a 36-hour commercial transaction for Premium subscribers.
Before that date, however, Bezos was head of the Bloomberg Billionaires index, but climbing to $ 150 billion, the CEO of Amazon has become the richest person in modern times.
Gates is the second richest person in the world with $ 95.5 billion in capital. Berkshire Hathaway President and CEO Warren Buffett is in third place with $ 83 billion.
Earlier this month, Mark Zuckerberg had supplanted Buffett to take over the world’s third-best place. The first three fortunes were all from the technology sector. Facebook’s boss has since moved back behind Buffett, to 82.9 billion dollars.
Amazon’s CEO Richest Man in the World and celebrated Prime Day in his own way. The world’s first fortune, Jeff Bezos, is worth $ 150 billion.
